The PTS team helps its partners find suitable materials for hard/soft combinations of engineering thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers. In collaboration with leading service providers, such as BGS Beta-Gamma-Service in the radiation crosslinking sector, PTS develops groundbreaking innovations, e.g. crosslinking hydraulic lines for the automotive industry made from PA11 and PA12 (for further information, please see Radiation crosslinking). We also work with leading material manufacturers such as Ticona on further development of difficult hard/soft combinations, e.g. with acetal, in this case HOSTAFORM. The development has been patented by Ticona (patent no. DE19845235C2) and PTS has been granted a license (for further information, please see Hard/soft combinations).

Radiation crosslinking
PTS is the leading materials specialist in radiation crosslinking. Among other materials, we supply radiation-crosslinkable grades based on PA6, PA6.6, PA11, PA12, copolyester and copolyamide and many polyolefin compounds (for further information, please see see Radiation crosslinking). PTS offers a radiation crosslinking service to impart special properties to materials, profiles or mouldings.
