The enormous success of TPEs is not just due to their excellent overall properties. PTS has tailored new developments exactly to customer requirements and material specifications. By producing individual hard and soft compounds, PTS can supply complete solutions in the areas of hard/soft combinations, sandwich technology with TPEs, and radiation crosslinking of polyamide components.

One example is the radiation crosslinking of components produced by multi-component injection moulding. Recognition of this fact was the reason we introduced our PTS seminars, which have become an established part of our sales activities. We offer our customers specially tailored seminars on hard/soft combinations, sandwich moulding (soft/soft, hard/soft, soft/hard), radiation crosslinking, additives, etc. At PTS, we test the quality of hard/soft combinations for our customers with a test method acknowledged to be the best, in which a special peel test specimen is used. |
